Pupils in Darwin have been doing some gardening in preparation for winter. Some pupils weeded around the car park, others helped clear the pond area and the rest of the class helped to clear a garden for the new Forest School classroom.
The class loved finding how many fish were in the pond and keeping an eye on the frog while the plants in the pond were cut back. There’s still more to do to make the area more inviting for wildlife but the children can’t wait to continue.
